Solar Cittee in Leduc is a new idea for the Big Box Store - Sustainable Retail. The first phase of this project is a 16-unit development of 3200 ft.2 retail bays accessed by shoppers from a single-sided walkway running along the front. Each unit is daylit from the front and the rear, providing a naturally illuminated environment.
A majority of the materials will be either with high recycled content, locally produced, or created from rapidly-renewable resources. The development will have a Green Roof throughout to help control surface water and to provide grey water for irrigation and water closet flushing.
