Located north of Winnipeg, the Peguis First Nation is the largest First Nations community in Manitoba. Constructed in two phases, this new K4-12 school will accommodate 1000 students in 8800 m of floor space; this includes 29 classrooms, 4 kindergarten rooms, 2 science rooms, a computer room, a library, home economics, industrial arts, a multi-purpose room, and a gymnasium.
The use of color in the masonry and steel sun shade elements makes this a bright and cheerful place to visit, work, and learn in, while expressing the culture of the community.
