This new 700 m RCMP detachment is located on the Peigan Reserve and provides policing services for the community.
The community desired a facility that would be as open and friendly as possible. The plan is designed to make the multi-purpose room, work areas and interview room directly accessible from the round entry / waiting room area; These public functions are deliberately separated from the secure areas.
The building was designed through a workshop process with input from community members, the local Constables and the RCMP “K” Division.
