This 6,225 m2, one-storey facility is separated into five resident wings containing 18 semi-private and 39 private rooms. Part of the building is designed for 25 cognitively impaired residents, with small groupings of resident rooms around their own activity and dining areas.

Sophisticated colour schemes for rooms and corridors create the ambience of a small hotel. Physical supports, such as continuous wood handrails carefully designed to be easily grasped and stained so as to be easily visible to the aged eye, are placed throughout the circulation space in the building to aid the independent movement of the resident

Every resident space, both private and shared areas, are filled with daylight and have views to the fully landscaped courtyards between each wing of the building. Three of these courtyards are highly developed as walking, activity or meeting and relaxation areas.
