 LEED Gold Certified
Working with Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), Manasc Isaac Architects led an integrated design process to achieve a LEED® Gold Rating of performance for the new Greenstone Government of Canada Building in Yellowknife.
A south-facing atrium creates a winter room that provides an important amenity to the city while enhancing the thermal performance of the building. Facing Franklin Avenue, the new Government of Canada Building has a strong civic presence, creating a clearly visable public entry on the main street of the city. The project was well received at recent presentations to the Yellowknife City Council.
