The Centre is expected to be designed and built as a high quality, generic post-secondary facility. MacEwan's Faculty of Health and Community Studies will be the initial occupants along with Nursing, Acupuncture, Holistic Health, and Therapist Assistant Programs.
The Centre will allow all of these programs to flourish, but the biggest impact will be on the Alberta healthcare sector as the new MacEwan Nursing Programs, including the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree, will substantially increase the number of graduates in nursing and other health professions.
