Manasc Isaac Architects is working with Grant MacEwan College, the Alberta Research Council, Edmonton Economic Development Authority, and Alberta Infrastructure to develop a 25-75 year vision and strategic roadmap for a new integrated Knowledge & Innovation Campus (KIC).
As one option in ARC and MacEwan's search for expansion, the KIC vision suggests new and sustainable land development strategies. The proposed campus integrates the "best practices" in sustainable campus planning and building design, as well as demonstrating new approaches to traffic demand management and transportation infrastructure.
Engaging key stakeholders in a series of planning and vision sessions, Vivian Manasc led the planning team and completed the vision document that is now being circulated among institutional presidents for final approval.
