Just north of the Arts District, the Judicial District is bounded by 99th Street on the west, 106th Avenue on the north, 96th Street on the east and 102nd Avenue on the south. This district is presently uninviting and in some respects exclusive; there is also a lot of vacant and underutilized land.
The challange for the Judicial Precinct is to create a vision of what this section of the city could be. At the junction of two principal urban street grids, Edmonton's Judicial Precinct has the potential to become the City's hub, where political, judicial, artistic, and cultural forces converge.
Manasc Isaac Architects Ltd. is excited to have been hired by the City of Edmonton to design this animated vision.
